The 4 Cs of crisis handling

If your organisation is facing a crisis there are few vital things to remember when dealing with the media:

1. Compassion – show concern for anyone affected.

2. Communicate – keep people updated on what is happening.

3. Control – show you are managing the situation and solving the problem.

4. Compensate – remember you will have to work hard to rebuild trust.
