This made me laugh.
Remember the former Conservative MP Sir Peter Viggers?
In case you’ve forgotten, he stood down after it was made public he’d claimed £1,645 on expenses for work on his grand, floating duckhouse. Well said duckhouse was recently sold to the highest bidder (a business centre in Wolverhampton) for £1,700, and the proceeds have been given to Macmillan Cancer Support.
So is all now forgiven? Not according to the readers of MSN:
“He never gave the money to charity,the taxpayer did! It’s not that easy to fool some of us you fat old tw*t!”
